Very nice full page Raleigh bicycle ad with three different bikes, Chopper, Grand Prix, and Sports. More on the Czechs and the Russians. Gruesome two page photo of a dead whale, possibly killed by oil leak offshore San Francisco. Author John Cheever. Elegant savagery of Lacrosse (game), Army - Navy game, others. A great piece on Mae West, with photos. Jockey-inspired fashions, includes jockey Barbara Jo Rubin. How things are in Podunk Center, Iowa.
