Neat full page color 1953 Studebaker ad with two tone green two-door car. 400 new angels a day - people moving into Los Angeles, includes amazing photo of at least 16 different moving vans at different houses on the same street, the Leo Ferguson family and others. . Very nice full page color Douglas aviation ad. Montgomery, Alabama children get $625,000 polio inoculation - includes photo showing two days supply of empty bottles with Dr. Walton H.Y. Smith. Photo essay - Provence, France in Stone. Movie - “Moon is Blue.†Radio - Zorch is dimph. Ballet helps Texan make big jump. Neat story about a portable pier - you fold it out into the water. Life revisits its wartime wedding couples (see LIFE June 21, 1943), including here Nathan Rosenfeld, William Richters, Israel Sloan, Frederick Witham, Charles Eater. Very nice two page General Electric ad with a full page of color art with Navy's FJ-2 jet plane, the North American Fury, taking off from aircraft carrier. Cicadas = Locusts. Texan women's group with Mrs. Preston H. Dial of San Antonio sing around the world. Walt Davis studied ballet to improve his High jump. Movie - “Martin Luther.†Excellent full page color Ballantine Ale ad with man in cowboy hat.
