Semiprecious discovery in Tansania, East Africa starts a rush for jewel called Tanzanite, includes Manuel d'Souza, John Saul, Michael Papanicholau, Alli Juyawatu, Campbell Bridges, Norman Matthews. The Maigret author Georges Simenon. In student rebellion turmoil at Swarthmore - president Courtney Smith dies of a heart attack. Ideas in Houses - Louis and Maria Sepe's home in Philadelphia. Full page color Honda motorcycle ad for the Mini Trail. Full page color American Tourister luggage ad with Mrs. J. Chris Swift of Columbia, South Carolina as a bad woman driver. Duke Ellington is invited to the White House for his 70th birthday, Edward Kennedy Ellington, jazz composer - Nixon was a fan. Full page color Fresca and Smirnoff Vodka ad with St. Bernard dog and Johnny Carson, looking very James Bond. 1.1
