Namath - the juicy rewards of a painful life, football. Extremely nice two page baseball photo of Jackie Robinson in 1955, plus little photos of him in 1947 and 1972 - he just died. Photos from Jackie Kennedy Onassis' 4th wedding anniversary party. Here is a odd looking construction, offshore oil rig being built, two pages in color. Nice two page color GTE ad with photo of Hawaiian volcano and tongue-in-check humor. Photos and clips from LIFE, 1952, 20 years ago. Some significant letters pertaining to the Lusitania (LIFE October 13, 1972). Full page color Mercury ad with an array of pilots in uniform. Lord Porn - earl of Longford leads battle against filth, Francis Aungier Pakenham. John Donald Imus Jr, the most outrageous disc jockey. Full page Army recruiting ad aimed at women. Photographer Larry Burrows recalled in a book of his pictures, includes awesome full page photo of Dr. Gordon Seagrave playing baseball. Presidents' kids - 22 surviving members. Challenge to the Olympics, 1976 was supposed to be in Denver, Colorado. Drug war on the border, includes Nuevo Laredo, Jim Kuykendall, named photos of bodies on various sides of the struggle.
