This issue was printed with two different covers, content is the same except for a couple ads on the regional (R) pages. Cover 1 - The hope of peace in Andien Vietnam, Nguyen Thi Tron gets a new wooden leg. Cover 2 - A morose orangutan in a zoo. A big feature article on the girl Tron. Zoos and pet stores drive animals crazy, orangutan, lions, and baboons. Are zoos necessary by Desmond Morris. Militant Horace Julian Bond at the Chicago Democratic Convention. Four very colorful pages of early computer art. Great New York school lockout over race, poverty and labor right, kids and parents have a sleep in, P.S. 188. Actress Diahann Carroll wears designer fashions by Jon Haggins, Henri Bendel and Galanos. Czechoslovakia celebrates it's 50th anniversary. Miscellany - funny photo of a child suspended in the air while holding onto a garage door handle, riding the garage door up and down. Full page photo of pilot Chuck Shafer and matching text page, American Airlines ad (present only in some issues). Each issue has a two page Sears tires ad, but there are two different ads - one for Superwide, one for Steel belted radial. Full page color Sylvania light bulb ad with Sophie Berube.
