The daring heart surgeon they call "Ted Terrific", Ted Diethrich and the coronary bypass. "Funny Car" racing - this is a crazy photo of the drag race car coming apart md-race, Phil Castronova. Here's a funny ad, full page color Viceroy cigarettes ad with rumpled race car driver putting down a greasy rag (in his helmet!) so he can take a cigarette. Two page color Chevrolet ad with Impala and Stockbridge, Massachusetts parade.. Soviets - now they're good at basketball and hockey, is football next? Oldest man in America, Carlie Smith from Bartow, Florida is 130 years old. Eileen Salyer, the 8-year-old "Fly me" girl for National Airlines.
