These issues are in pretty good shape. These are great for those who want a complete, original, average condition issue to read and enjoy. They may have some light to moderate flaws like small tears, spots, library stamps etc. but would make a great piece of history for the budget minded to mark any occasion.

Some of the contents in this issue
This is a US Navy special issue. Nice full color Oldsmobile ad with yellow car and Hydra-Matic drive. Photo of Destroyer ship 374 with improvised sails put up on the mast, essentially turning it into a slow sailboat, apparently for fun not necessity. One of those great historic shots - sailor sitting on shore of Maui (Hawaii) looking out at a string of cruisers and destroyers in the Lahaina Roads Fleet (probably many of these ships in this photo and the ones that follow were sunk in Pearl Harbor). Nice full-color Chrysler DeSoto ad with green car and horse. Photo essay showing life in the huge crew on a battleship. Anti-aircraft guns and techniques, shipboard. A neat history of the Navy in paintings and prints. 13 articles on the U.S. Navy including … Nurses accompany fleet to sea. Seapower - weapon of freedom by Walter Lippmann. USS Constellation is Navy's oldest ship. Naval war college. US Naval air arm is world's best. Fashion designers find new style ideas in Navy. Sailors' album. A party for Lana Turner and the Navy. Full page Lucky Strike cigarettes ad with Otis Rucker. Wow - a great article on Naval aviation including color illustrations of airplanes. Full page color Forstmann woolen fabrics ad with art by Ruth Sigrid Grafstrom.
Very Good (an impressively nice copy!)
